NPLW (National Premier League Women)

The National Premier League Women (NPLW) commenced in 2020 and is the highest level of women’s soccer in WA outside of the A-League competition. Subiaco AFC is proud to be a part of this league, having been made one of the inaugural teams by winning the State League Division 1 competition in 2019.

Trials for positions within our NPLW squad are held in late December. For more details on our NPLW squad, please contact the NPLW Head Coach here.

Central League

The Central League replaced the Women’s State and Amateurs competition in 2023. We’re proud of our Central Division 2 team, which won the league in its inaugural year. This league caters to players aspiring to join the NPLW squad and/or past NPLW/State players interested in a more competitive level than the Community and Masters leagues.

Trials/grading will be held for players interested in these teams. Players interested in this league should email women@subiacosoccer.asn.au with details of their past playing experience.

Community

Our club is part of the Women’s League North Division, which replaced the metro league in 2023. We’re proud of our second North Division team, which won the league in its inaugural year. This league caters to players who may be new to the game or are looking to play more socially than in the NPLW or Central League.

All players are welcome and will be graded at training. Players interested in this league should email women@subiacosoccer.asn.au.

Masters

Football West is working to establish a women’s Masters competition for the 2024 season. While details are still being finalized, we are taking expressions of interest from players wanting to be part of the inaugural Subiaco AFC team in this competition.

Players who meet the age requirement, once determined by Football West, will be welcomed into this team. Players interested in this league should email women@subiacosoccer.asn.au.
