SubiRoos is an after-school program for young players between the ages of 3 and 7 years. The program is designed to introduce new players to soccer and to assist them in developing essential motor skills, co-ordination and confidence in a safe and non-competitive environment. It takes place on Thursdays at 4PM for 45 minutes and during school term. Players do not have to be members of Subiaco AFC to register.

As well as teaching the fundamentals of the game, SubiRoos promotes teamwork, social interaction and physical well-being. Importantly, SubiRoos provides a pathway to progress into Club soccer at Subi, one of Perth’s largest junior clubs. Giving kids a strong foundation in the early years will assist in the development of a lifelong love of the game.

The program is run by Professor Adi Juric, Technical Director of Subiaco AFC and Assistant Technical Director Branko Jelic, with the assistance of Subiaco coaching staff. Juric and Jelic are two of the most highly qualified coaches in Western Australia, with extensive experience in coaching children of all ages.
