State League
The Men’s State League is the second highest league in WA and one level below the NPL. Subiaco AFC have aspirations to be promoted into the NPL league in the near future. The State League competition comprises the State League First Team, State League Reserves and 18’s team. All three teams play on the same Saturday one after the other kicking off at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Trials are held for positions within our Men’s State squad. For more details on our Men’s State squad please contact the State League Head Coach Mark Wingell. His details are on the contact page here.
Amateurs
The Amateurs league caters for players who are aspiring to be part of the State League and are interested in a more competitive level then the Metro leagues. Subiaco AFC will have an Amateur Men’s and Amateurs Reserve team in 2024. The teams are hoping to improve on their 2023 season and be extremely competitive in their division.
Metro
The men’s metro league is a social league which is for players who want to play football at a good level, but do not aspire to being in the higher leagues. There will be two Metro teams at Subiaco AFC in 2024. This is a great level for players who are over 18 who want to keep playing after Juniors, but know they are never going to make A grade!
Masters
There are currently 3 Men’s Masters teams at Subiaco. The club has two Over 45’s teams and an Over 55’s team. The club is proud of its longevity in hosting Masters teams and initiating an Over 55’s team last season. The Masters are fairly self sufficient with regards to managing and coaching themselves, as the Masters do have several highly qualified coaches who also play. All teams are competitive within their divisions, but are also extremely social and very welcoming.
