Subiaco AFC is seeking an Administration Officer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a flexible environment at a supportive local community sporting club.
This role is the first point of call for club enquires so the person we’re looking for needs to have a strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, ability to prioritise workload, excellent verbal and communication skills, strong computing skills and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
In addition to responding to enquiries the role will be assisting with:
- Processing of player registrations and grading days;
- Accounts and payment of invoices;
- Setting up and managing the volunteers’ roster;
- Maintaining the club database and contact lists;
- Club events including season launches, trophy nights, skill clinics etc; and
- Other ad hoc tasks as required by the committee.
The Administration officer provides critical support to the management committee, members, coaches and volunteers ensuring the smooth running of the club operations.
The intent is for this role to work from home but be able to help at the club house based in Shenton Park, when required. Hours will vary depending on the football season and club activities.
Experience working or volunteering at a community sporting club would be highly regarded.
